Nia Jax vs. Mickie James

We go to the ring and out comes Nia Jax. We see the recent issues between Jax and RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, leading to their WrestleMania 34 match. Bliss is out next with Mickie James.

Bliss and Nia exchange words as we get the bell. They lock up and Nia shoves Mickie to the mat. They lock up again and Mickie gets sent out to the floor. We go to commercial with Jax standing tall in the ring.

Back from the break and Mickie takes Nia’s leg out from behind on the floor as she’s stalking Bliss, who is taunting her. Mickie returns to the ring as the referee counts on Nia. She makes it back into the ring at the 7 count but Mickie goes right to work on her knee.

Mickie with more offense and two pin attempts in a row. Jax blocks the DDT. Jax charges in the corner but misses and Mickie goes right back to work on her knee. Mickie goes to the top and kicks Jax. Jax grabs her and presses her high, then drops her into a big Samoan Drop for the pin.

After the match, Bliss immediately runs in and nails Jax but it does nothing to her. Bliss starts backing away and pleading. Bliss runs away as Jax talks trash and calls her a little b—h. Bliss watches from the stage and retreats to the back as Jax leaves the ring while her music plays.

Throughout the weekend Nia Jax was involved in the Curvy Con for New York Fashion week. One of the many activities she took part in was walking in the Dia & Co runway. See her runway walk and interview below

Nia Jax isn’t like most women, and if you aren’t either, she wants you to know that’s OK.

The formidable Superstar took a moment in between pummeling the likes of Charlotte Flair and Bayley to post a rare, lengthy message to her Twitter account. The message details her own struggles with body positivity and several emotional encounters with members of the WWE Universe — male and female — following her WrestleMania debut. In the post, Jax also recounts important advice given to her by her mother: “No matter how beautiful you are on the outside, if your insides are ugly, that will be what everyone sees and feels.”

Jax closes out the message with a word for any members of the WWE Universe who may be struggling with their own self-perception: “We aren’t meant to look the same, but we are all meant to be healthy … staying healthy adds to beauty. Even more importantly, it will increase your self-confidence.”

It makes sense; there’s no way anybody can be that dominant without a major dose of self-confidence to go along with it. In this instance, though, Nia Jax’s words outside the ring are far more powerful than her offense in it.

Posting a picture of myself in a bathing suit is VERY hard for me. I have never been one to show off too much skin, and it’s not just because I’m a larger woman. After this amazing #Wrestlemania weekend I had a chance to speak to a bunch of young women & men. Most, if not all of them, mentioned that my #BodyPositive mindset had helped them to be able to find confidence within themselves, which really touched me and even brought me to tears numerous times. Thankfully I have always had a family that has supported me and has always reminded me that my beauty comes from within, especially my mother. She constantly reminded me that “no matter how beautiful you are on the outside, if you’re insides are ugly, that will be what everyone sees & feels.” Don’t get me wrong, there have been many occasions where I wished I could be thinner or have a different nose or hairline to fit in, but I realized that fitting in is not always as important as it seems; I realized that I love standing out in positive ways! • I love sending a message of self-confidence and getting to share that with people. Self-confidence also goes along with being healthy! I work out all the time, I eat healthy & try (emphasis on TRY) to get as much sleep as I can. There are obviously times where I love to pig out and enjoy myself, but I always make sure to never lose my focus on being healthy, because no matter what, your health is the number one most important thing in life. We aren’t meant to look the same, but we are all meant to be healthy. We are all beautiful in different ways. Staying healthy adds to beauty. Stephanie and Mick Foley announced they were drafting Nia Jax to RAW. Before the announcement Stephanie gave Nia an introduction stating “There is no woman quite like her from NXT, Nia Jax!”

NXT is about to step into the spotlight on the grandest virtual stage of them all.

On Thursday, 2K announced details regarding the upcoming release of the collectible NXT Edition of WWE 2K17. The limited edition version – of which only 50,000 copies will be made available worldwide – will shine a spotlight on NXT, the WWE global brand whose presence in WWE video games has grown substantially in recent years.

The NXT Edition of WWE 2K17 will offer grappling gamers a wide variety of exclusive features, from in-game enhancements to collectible WWE memorabilia.

In addition to the WWE 2K17 video game itself, the NXT Edition will include:

the NXT Enhancement Pack, which includes three playable NXT Superstars (Shinsuke Nakamura, Nia Jax and Apollo Crews) as well as a 50-percent point bonus at NXT in WWE 2K17’s MyCareer mode;an exclusive Canvas 2 Canvas lithograph designed by WWE portrait artist Rob Schamberger and autographed by NXT Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura;an exclusive eight-inch “Demon” Finn Bálor collectible figurine;an exclusive Topps NXT TakeOver: London Mat Relics Card, which will feature one of the Superstars who competed that night as well as an authentic piece of the event’s ring canvas; andaccess to all features available in the WWE 2K17 Pre-Order Bonus, including the availability of Goldberg as a playable character.

2K will present these exclusive items in  specially designed NXT packaging to house the NXT Edition of WWE 2K17. This creative touch echoes 2K’s recent reveal of the official WWE 2K17 and the announcement of Brock Lesnar as the game’s featured WWE Superstar.

WWE 2K17 is not yet rated by the ESRB and is currently scheduled for worldwide release on Oct. 11, 2016, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well as PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Triple H conducted an interview after NXT TakeOver where he gives an in site on the future of NXT in which he mentions Nia Jax and the Women’s division. Here is a brief synopsis on the comment. Full interview below.

He does not believe Nia Jax taking a loss to NXT Women’s Champion Asuka is a setback as he’s never seen anyone push Asuka like that. He thinks the other women of NXT are on notice and Jax isn’t going anywhere. He says the women’s division is an impressive landscape and when you know what he knows about who is coming in, the women’s division is about to get very interesting fast. He says Asuka returning to Japan with the title in front of her country and her family is big and some of the pressure is off after tonight

May 29th is officially here which means it’s Nia’s birthday! A few weeks ago NiaJax.com announced Nia’s birthday project.
