Nia Jax is backstage with an official, the same one she attacked last week. She’ll be out after the break.

Nia Jax is in the ring with Pat Buck, the official she attacked last week. Jax says she takes it seriously that there are millions of people all over the world who look up to her. So when a scrawny idiot from management steps to her, she fights back. She turns to Pat and tells him he’s not getting an apology. Instead, he can face her in a match right now. He says he’s only here for an apology and Jax says he can have it after a match. She says she’ll start slow, so that his small legs can keep up. Buck says he’s going to leave and Jax asks if he’s scared? She says she figured he’d have more fire, considering he’s ginger. She slams the microphone into his chest and Pat says she is indefinitely suspended without pay. Jax gets angry and headbutts him, then kicks him from the ring before leaving.

The music immediately hits and out comes Nia Jax making her return, for the first time since losing to RAW Women’s Champion Asuka on June 15.

Jax marches to the ring. The crowd boos. Jax says she just heard Randy Orton Orton talk about waking up and knowing what he wants. She knows how it feels. She woke up this morning and wanted to become RAW Women’s Champion. Jax talks about how she was screwed by a certain referee last month. She says Charlotte Flair hasn’t been seen since. She mentions Asuka’s match with WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks later tonight but she wants to… the music interrupts and out comes Shayna Baszler to the ring.

Baszler marches to the ring and gets in Jax’s face with a mic. Baszler tells Jax nobody gives a damn what she wants. Jax pulls back and drops Baszler in the middle of the ring. Jax attacks and they brawl. Referees rush down to break the fight up. We go to commercial.

Nia Jax is backstage talking to a referee. Back to commercial.

Nia Jax vs Shayna Baszler

Back from the break and Nia Jax is out, as is Shayna Baszler. The bell rings and they start brawling.

Jax sends Baszler to the apron and then the floor. She follows and launches Baszler into the Plexiglas. The referee counts and ends up counting them both out.

After the bell, Jax and Baszler continue brawling. Security tries to break it up but Baszler applies the Kirifuda Clutch on one of the guards. Jax shoves producer Pat Buck into Baszler and Jax drop him. Jax drops Baszler off the apron.

In Ring Segment

Nia Jax’s music hits and interrupts the announcers. They say she’s not scheduled. Jax grabs a steel chair and slides it into the ring. She takes a seat in the middle of the ring and waits as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and Nia Jax is in the ring complaining about unfairness. The music interrupts and out comes WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth to interrupt. Jax isn’t in the mood for his stuff tonight. Akira Tozawa suddenly appears behind the announcers, taunting Truth. His ninjas also appear and they chase Truth away. Jax is still in the ring with her mic.

Jax goes on about Charlotte Flair getting what she wants, even if she doesn’t deserve it. Jax says she was cheated at Backlash and screwed over again by another referee. Jax says Flair gets what she wants because her dad is WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair. Flair makes her way out now. They have more words and Flair strikes first. Jax fights back. Referees run down to break it up but Flair drops Jax with a big boot to the head. The brawl is broken up.

Asuka defeated Charlotte Flair to retain the RAW Women’s Championship. During the match, Nia Jax was shown backstage as she watches on.

After the match, Asuka sits up and is handed the title as her music hits. We go to replays. Flair sits up in the corner and looks disappointed. We see Nia Jax backstage watching the finish. Charly approaches and asks if she thinks her fight with Flair had anything to do with the outcome of the match. Jax says she thinks it would be a real shame for someone to kick The Queen while she’s down. Jax walks off.

Backstage Brawl

Back from the break and Charly approaches Charlotte Flair, who is icing her shoulder down. She’s not happy but she gives Asuka credit because that’s the only way… Nia Jax suddenly attacks from behind and beats Flair around, taunting her. Jax slams Flair’s injured arm in a storage bin, then taunts her with a “Woooo!” before leaving when an officials runs up to check on Flair.

RAW Women’s Title Match: Nia Jax vs. Asuka

We go back to the ring and out comes Nia Jax for this rematch from the Double Count Out at WWE Backlash. We get pre-recorded comments with Jax saying Asuka had dumb luck at Backlash and it was a joke, just like her. She tells Asuka to keep dancing around because she will be doing a victory dance all on her own when she takes the title tonight. Jax stands tall in the ring as we go back to a break.

Back from the break and out comes RAW Women’s Champion Asuka. We get formal ring introductions from Rome in the middle of the ring. The bell rings and Jax levels Asuka with two clotheslines. Jax overpowers and continues to dominate in the early part of the match. Asuka takes Jax down in an armbar out of nowhere in the middle of the ring. Jax rolls to the apron for a breather. Asuka goes for the Hip Attack but Jax moves out of the way.

Jax gets Asuka on her shoulders while on the apron. Asuka struggles and counters, sliding out as the referee counts to 5. Asuka is back in the ring now. Jax comes in from the apron but stalls some, stunned a bit. Asuka unloads with kicks as Jax comes back through the ropes. Jax levels Asuka with a big right hand. Jax kicks Asuka around and taunts her while she’s down. Asuka pulls Jax down into an armbar out of nowhere again. Jax gets the bottom rope to break the hold.

Jax rolls to the floor for a breather. Asuka runs the ropes for a baseball slide but she stops short. Jax pulls Asuka out of drops her with a big powerbomb on the floor. The referee immediately runs out and checks on Asuka while she’s on the floor. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and Jax manhandles Asuka on her shoulders in a Torture Rack. She drops her to the mat. Asuka comes back with double knees to the face and another takedown for a 2 count. The crowd rallies for Asuka as she goes to the top. Jax cuts her off with a forearm to the face. Jax climbs up for a super Samoan Drop but Asuka slides out and down. They both fight for control and Asuka kicks her legs out from the middle rope, hanging Jax upside down. Asuka charges and delivers a big double stomp to the abdomen while upside down. Jax kicks out at 2.

Asuka delivers big kicks while Jax is on her knees. Jax blocks the roundhouse kick and headbutts Asuka to the mat. Jax nails the big Samoan Drop but Asuka’s foot is under the bottom rope. Jax screams at the referee and gets in his face. Jax shoves the referee to the mat. He gets up and goes on about how she crossed the line, walking over to call the match but Asuka takes advantage of the distraction and rolls Jax up for the win with a fast count assist from the referee.

After the match, Asuka heads to the floor clutching her title as the music hits. Jax immediately gets up and she’s not happy with the finish. We go to replays. Jax stares down at Asuka and the referee from the ring, fuming at what happened.

RAW Women’s Title Match: Nia Jax vs. Asuka

We go back to the ring and out comes Nia Jax. RAW Women’s Champion Asuka is out next.

The bell rings and Asuka mounts offense with strikes. Asuka gets on her back and goes for a Sleeper but Jax fights back. Asuka also goes for an armbar. Jax fights her off and headbutts her. Asuka blocks a shot and turns it around in the corner. More back and forth now. Asuka with the Octopus submission in the middle of the ring.

Jax throws Asuka off her back. Jax with a big clothesline now. They trade strikes. Asuka charges but Jax knocks her out of the air with a clothesline. Jax beats Asuka around the ring now. Jax scoops Asuka and slams her in the middle of the ring. Jax covers for 2. The crowd rallies for Asuka now. Jax uses the middle rope on her as the referee counts. Jax taunts Asuka some but Asuka gets up and fights back. Asuka charges but Jax catches her with a Spinebuster for a 2 count in the middle of the ring. Jax keeps Asuka grounded with a Cobra Lock now.

Asuka fights out with back elbows. Asuka with a guillotine submission out of nowhere. Jax resists. Jax powers out and into a big Jackhammer for another close 2 count. Jax taunts Asuka, mentioning Kairi Sane. Asuka rocks her and fights. Asuka blocks a Samoan Drop. Jax goes to drop down but Asuka moves and she lands hard. Asuka with a Shining Wizard for a 2 count. Asuka with more offense and a Hip Attack for another pin attempt in the middle of the ring, and another.

Asuka unloads with kicks in the middle of the ring. Jax catches a kick and drops Asuka with a sitdown powerbomb for a close 2 count. More back and forth in the corner and out to the floor now. Asuka catches Jax in an armbar on the floor but the referee continues to count. Jax beaks it into the barrier. The referee is at 8 now. Jax scoops Asuka at 9 but Asuka slides out and drops Jax with a big kick to the head. The referee counts them both out.

After the bell, the decision is announced. Asuka reacts by delivering a Hip Attack on the floor. Asuka takes her title and leaves with it as her music hits. Jax stares her down.

Charlotte Flair defeats Asuka

Nia Jax runs down but Asuka meets her on the apron with strikes to stun her. Asuka sends Jax to the floor with a Hip Attack. Flair takes advantage and take out Asuka with a huge boot for the pin to get the win. After the match, Jax looks on as we go to replays. Flair poses in the corner as her music plays. Jax enters the ring and hits Asuka with a Samoan Drop while Flair watches. Jax’s music hits and she backs up the ramp as the announcers promote Jax vs. Asuka for the title at Backlash on Sunday. RAW goes off the air with Jax staring back at the ring.
