#1 Contender’s Match: WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina Snuka vs. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler

We go back to the ring and out comes WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina Snuka for this non-title match. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and this #1 contender’s match is underway. Shayna Baszler is going at it with Natalya. Nia Jax watches from the apron. Baszler ends up leveling Natalya with a big knee for a 2 count after Jax drives Tamina into the barrier with a Samoan Drop. It’s indicated on commentary that Jax and Baszler will earn a title shot if they win this match.

Jax tags in and splashes Natalya in the corner now. Baszler takes back over and drops Natalya in the corner for a 2 count. Baszler bends Natalya’s wrist back and stomps on it now. Natalya ends up fighting back and in comes Jax. Natalya clotheslines her but Jax comes back and levels her. Baszler tags in and taunts Natalya while she’s down, talking trash.

Tamina finally returns to the apron from the Samoan Drop. Natalya drops Baszler and in comes Tamina. Tamina knocks Jax off the apron but Baszler rolls her for 2. Baszler with kicks but Tamina elbows her, then slams her. Tamina goes to the top but Reginald distracts her from the apron, allowing Baszler to bring Tamina down.

Natalya goes for Reginald but she goes down at ringside. Tamina ends up superkicking Baszler as she’s distracted by Reginald. Tamina covers Baszler for the pin to win.

After the match, the champs head to the back as their music hits. Baszler is fed up with Reginald. She has words with Jax and Reggie in the middle of the ring now. Fans chant for Baszler. Jax suddenly turns on Reginald and sends him to the mat with a headbutt. Jax talks some trash as some fans boo. Baszler says she warned Reggie. Baszler and Jax head to the back as fans chant “Reggie sucks!” now.

Backstage Segment

Reginald, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are backstage talking about Doudrop. Alexa Bliss is seen in the background just staring at them but only Reginald sees her. Baszler yells at him, she’s had enough. She tells Reginald to get himself together. Jax defends Reginald and says they all just want to get through this match because things have been tough. They walk off together and we see Bliss standing there in the shadows again.

 

Alexa Bliss, Nikki Cross, Asuka and Naomi vs. Eva Marie, Doudrop, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler

We go back to the ring and out comes Nikki Cross. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and Asuka, Naomi and then Alexa Bliss are out. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are out with Reginald for their team. Eva Marie and Doudrop are out together.

Naomi starts off with Doudrop. Eva tags in before they get going. They lock up and Eva takes it to the corner but Naomi shoves her away. Eva with a forearm and a tag to Doudrop. Naomi dropkicks Doudrop off the apron to the floor. Naomi flies and takes out Jax and Baszler.

Asuka with a Hip Attack off the apron to Doudrop. Cross with a plancha to Doudrop. Eva turns around to Bliss screaming at her. Eva goes down on the floor as we go to commercial as Bliss smiles and stares ahead.

Back from the break and Bliss is hitting Doudrop with forearms. Doudrop decks her. Bliss runs the ropes and leaps onto the ropes to pose, staring at Doudrop. Nikki tags in but Doudrop rag-dolls her. Cross comes back and dropkicks Doudrop to one knee. Asuka tags in and unloads on Doudrop with kicks. Doudrop catches a kick and delivers a headbutt to drop Asuka. Jax is tagged in. Jax and Doudrop sandwich Asuka with double splashes on their feet. Jax covers for a quick pin.

Jax goes to work on Asuka and splashes her, then drops an elbow for 2. Reginald claps for Jax as she takes Asuka to the corner for a tag to Baszler. Baszler beats Asuka up while Jax holds her. Baszler drops Asuka for a 2 count. Baszler mounts Asuka with strikes as fans boo. Eva ends up tagging in and kicking at Asuka while she’s down in the corner. Jax comes back in and scoops Asuka for a big slam. Asuka kicks out at 2.

Jax ends up knocking Cross off the apron but she turns around to Asuka unloading with strikes. Jax drops her with a headbutt. Bliss stares Reginald down, controlling him with her gaze. Baszler tries to stop him but he slowly walks towards Bliss. Baszler grabs Bliss and attacks, launching her into the barrier. Jax drops Asuka in the ring as Baszler reminds Reginald to leave Bliss alone. Baszler ends up knocked off the apron as Jax misses a running shoulder to Asuka in the corner, knocking Baszler off.

Eva comes in but Asuka goes to work on her. Eva tags right back out. Baszler comes in but Asuka takes her down into an arm bar. Baszler reverses it. Naomi tags in. Asuka launches Baszler onto the mat and Naomi covers for 2. Doudrop makes the save and levels Asuka. Doudrop with a running corner cannonball to Naomi. Asuka drops Doudrop with knees. Baszler drops Asuka with a big knee. Cross leaps from the top onto Baszler with a crossbody. Eva breaks the pin up but Cross sends her to the floor.

Baszler and Cross tangle. Cross rolls her up but Jax was legal and Cross didn’t realize it. Cross fights out of a Samoan Drop and they tangle some more until Jax nails the Samoan Drop. Jax covers for the pin to win.

After the match, Mike Rome goes to announce the winners but Eva takes the mic and announces herself as the sole winner. Jax and Baszler aren’t happy. Doudrop stands with Eva at ringside but seems to be apologizing to Jax and Baszler for Eva’s antics.

We see highlights from Alexa Bliss’ win over Shayna Baszler at Hell In a Cell. Patrick stops Baszler, Nia Jax, and Reginald backstage. Jax says what happened last night to Reginald will not happen tonight. Baszler asks Reggie if he’s scared. Baszler isn’t worried about anyone stopping them from qualifying for Money In the Bank. Jax interrupts and says but there is something different about Bliss. They walk off.

Money In the Bank Qualifying Match: Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross vs. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler

The match gets underway with super Cross and Baszler, and Shayna takes control early on with some joint manipulation. Cross is sent to the apron and looks for a sunset flip but Jax gets tagged in. Jax backs Cross into the corner and looks for a shoulder tackle but nobody’s home and she tumbles to the floor. Reginald checks on Nia and Bliss starts hypnotizing him but Shayna snaps him out of it. Cross dives off the ropes onto them all on the floor, then poses in the ring.

*Commercial Break*

Cross hits a bulldog to Baszler and tags Bliss, who hits a senton. Baszler rakes the eyes and Jax tags in. Nia slams Alexa into the buckles, then tags Shayna in for a leaping knee to the jaw. Baszler applies a modified camel clutch but Bliss fights free and hits a sunset bomb. Tags made to Cross and Jax, and Nikki counters a powerslam to land a dropkick.

Jax puts Cross in the corner and tags Shayna, who almost hits her partner. Bliss gets on the top rope and hypnotises Reggied into almost slapping Nia but he stops himself. Jax hugs him but Cross dropkicks them both through the ropes. Cross hits a tilt-a-whirl into a roll-up for the win.

After the match, Cross goes to ringside to celebrate by herself as the music hits. Baszler, Jax and Reginald regroup in the ring as the tension continues.

Tonight’s WWE Hell In a Cell go-home edition of RAW on the USA Network opens up with Alexa Bliss backstage on her swing. She welcomes us and is happy to have us tonight, but she did get a bunch of feedback on how Lilly acted last week to Shayna Baszler. Bliss admits even she was taken aback. We get a brief video package of what happened last week. Bliss says she had only good intentions when she invited Baszler to Alexa’s Playground, but unfortunately things got a little out of hand. Bliss says due to Lilly’s naughtiness and because WWE is going back on the road soon, Bliss has decided to put Lilly in time out. That doesn’t mean Baszler didn’t get what she deserved.

Nia Jax appears. Bliss plays her schtick up but Jax tells her to cut the crap. Jax tells Bliss that Baszler will see her on Sunday at WWE Hell In a Cell. Jax wonders what happened to Bliss. They used to be friends, Jax knows the real her. Jax wants Bliss to stay away from her friends and out of her career. Bliss changes her tone and says they were never friends. Jax says she has to smack some sense into Bliss now. She proposes a match with Bliss in the ring tonight. Bliss starts crying and says she never meant to hurt anyone. The tears turn to laughs and she says she was just kidding. Bliss stands up and gets in Jax’s face, and accepts the challenge.

Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax

We go back to the ring and out comes Alexa Bliss with her dark entrance theme. She heads to the ring and bounces around on the middle rope. We go back to commercial.

Back from the break and we see what happened between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley. Bliss waits in the ring now as her match with Shayna Baszler is confirmed for Sunday. Out next comes Nia Jax.

The bell rings and Jax charges but Bliss kicks her legs a few times. Bliss jumps on the back of Jax but Jax ends up tossing her to the mat. Bliss does this bizarre crawl and gets back on the back of Jax. Jax gets free again in the corner. Jax charges with a big boot but misses. Bliss takes Jax down to one knee and delivers kicks to keep her down. Bliss with a right hand now. Jax shoves her away but Bliss keeps attacking with strikes. Jax comes back out of nowhere and runs over Bliss in the middle of the ring.

Jax rag-dolls Bliss some now and shakes her head. Jax with a running splash while Bliss is down in the corner. Jax with a scoop slam in the middle of the ring. Bliss kicks out at 2. Jax grounds Bliss with a submission in the middle of the ring now, rag-dolling her a bit. Bliss fights up and out but Jax runs over her with ease again. Jax goes for the leg drop but Bliss moves out of the way. Bliss sits right up and stares straight ahead. Bliss rocks Jax. Jax shoves her to the corner but hits the ring post as she charges and Bliss moves.

Bliss is on the second turnbuckle now. Reginald distracts her from the apron but this leads to Bliss countering and dropkicking Jax’s leg out. Bliss screams in Jax’s face and drops her with a DDT as Reginald watches from ringside.

Bliss goes back to the top turnbuckle now. Bliss leaps and hits Twisted Bliss. Bliss goes for the pin but Reginald runs in and pulls her off for the disqualification.

After the bell, Reginald pleads as Bliss stares him down and backs him towards the corner. Bliss stares at Reginald like a crazy woman. He looks to be in a trance now, controlled by Bliss. Jax recovers and Bliss exits the ring, breaking Reginald’s trance at the same time. Jax tells Reginald to snap out of it as he comes to. Bliss’ music starts back up as she stares on from the ramp, backing her way to the stage to exit.

We see how Reginald was injured by the ring explosion during last week’s rematch for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. We also see how Shayna Baszler made Natalya to tap out on Friday’s SmackDown. Sarah Schreiber is backstage with Baszler, Reginald and Nia Jax, asking how they plan to win the titles back tonight. Jax says last week was a fluke and it won’t happen again. Baszler isn’t happy, saying Jax got distracted by Reginald last week. She talks about how Reginald is messed up from the explosion and having nightmares. Baszler asks who cares? Baszler says they were an unstoppable force before Reginald came along. Jax says they still are unstoppable. Baszler says let’s prove it by going out alone tonight. Reginald says he’s just trying to help. Baszler says if she sees Reginald ringside for one of her matches again, she will give him a real reason to have nightmares. Jax and Baszler walk off.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles Match: Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler vs. Natalya and Tamina Snuka

We go back to the ring for tonight’s main event as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina Snuka are out first. We go to commercial.

Back from the break and we get a new “Eva-Lution” vignette with Eva Marie. She will be coming soon. Back to the ring and Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are out for the main event. We get formal ring introductions from Rome.

The bell rings and we see Reginald backstage watching the match. Tamina and Jax start off but Jax immediately tags out, wanting none of Tamina. Baszler with a cheap shot to Natalya on the apron. Natalya wants in and Tamina tags her. We finally lock up as Natalya and Baszler go to the mat. Natalya kips up and Baszler locks her arm up. Natalya turns it around and slams Baszler for a quick pin attempt.

Baszler drops Natalya with a shoulder after working on the arm. They block hip tosses and Natalya takes Baszler down for a 2 count. Baszler comes right back with one of her own. Baszler takes Natalya down and works on her knee.

Baszler uses the Sharpshooter on Natalya but she gets out. Baszler takes Natalya back down and snaps her arm back. Jax tags in and drops a big leg drop on Natalya’s hurt arm for boos. Jax slams Natalya back into the corner and in comes Baszler for a gut shot. Baszler drops Natalya and goes to step on her arm but here comes Reginald for the distraction.

Baszler misses the arm stomp, and Natalya then drops her with a German suplex. Reginald walks down to ringside now as Baszler is on her back, clutching her head from the suplex. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and Baszler has Natalya down but she tries to fight up and out. Baszler drops her for a 2 count. Baszler grounds Natalya by her arm now. Natalya tosses Baszler and then scoop slams her. Jax and Tamina tag in at the same time for a pop. They unload with strikes. Tamina with a big uppercut. Jax scoops her but Tamina slides down and then superkicks her for a 2 count.

Reginald is stressed at ringside. Tamina goes to the top but Jax rocks her with a right hand. Jax has Tamina on her shoulders now. Tamina fights free but gets hung up on the ropes as Jax dodges a superkick. Jax covers for 2. Jax rams Tamina into the corner and in comes Baszler for the double team. Baszler with body blows to Tamina in the corner now. The referee backs Baszler off but she goes back to work. Jax tags in and nails a running splash to Tamina. Baszler comes right back in with a running high knee to Tamina for a close 2 count. Baszler kicks Tamina around and works her over in the corner some more. The referee backs her off. Tamina knocks Jax off the apron. Tamina unloads on Baszler now.

Tamina catches her with a big powerslam in the middle of the ring. Natalya tags in and slingshots Baszler into a superkick from Tamina. Natalya covers but Jax breaks the pin up and headbutts her. Tamina hits a Thesz Press to Jax and they roll to the floor to keep brawling. Jax dumps Tamina over the barrier into the ThunderDome LED crowd. Baszler misses a knee to Natalya and hits the turnbuckle. Natalya comes right back with a discus clothesline.

Natalya goes for the Sharpshooter but Reginald gets on the apron, distracting the referee. Baszler rolls Natalya in a Sharpshooter counter but the referee is distracted. Baszler drops Natalya and then yells at Reginald for costing the match. He pleads but Baszler yells at him to go away. Baszler is seething now as Reginald walks up the ramp but an explosion, bigger than last week’s explosion, suddenly hits as he reaches the top. Natalya takes advantage of the distraction and rolls Baszler up for the pin to retain.

After the match, we see Reginald holding his eyes on the stage, still hurt from the big explosion. Natalya and Tamina celebrate with the titles as their music hits and we go to replays of the finish. Baszler runs up the ramp and checks on Reginald now. She helps him up but then grabs him by his collar. We see Jax getting up at ringside, watching what is going on with Baszler and Reginald. Baszler calls Reginald a son of a b—h and says she’s tired of him interfering in her matches. Baszler says we’ll see how Reginald does next week when she faces him in the ring and if he has the balls, she will make him wish he was in the explosion. Baszler shoves Reginald down and storms off as RAW goes off the air.

Bayley goes to exit the ring but Belair is attacked behind by Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. Natalya and Tamina run down to make the save but the heels get the upperhand. Bayley, Jax and Baszler stand tall as we go to commercial with fans booing.

Back from the break and the match begins as Nia Jax splashes WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Tamina Snuka in the corner, then drops an elbow for a 2 count. Cole says this match is taking advantage of the quarterly Brand-To-Brand Invitational with Superstars working the opposite brand.

Shayna Baszler tags in and works over Jax in the heels’ corner. Cole points out how Reginald is not here tonight as he’s being treated after the ring post exploded at him on RAW. Baszler drops Tamina for another 2 count as SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair reaches for the tag. Bayley tags back in but Tamina fights her off from the corner. Bayley rams her back into the corner and works her over. Tamina finally nails a big suplex and in comes WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Natalya off the tag. Natalya with a snap suplex to Baszler, then Bayley. Bayley ends up countering and dropping Natalya. Baszler tags in and starts bending and stretching Natalya’s limbs. Jax tags in and slams Natalya for a 2 count. Belair tags in and dropkicks Baszler, then kips up. Belair takes Baszler to the corner for thrusts. Baszler counters and applies the Kirifuda Clutch but Belair gets free.

Belair ends up catching Baszler with a big Spinebuster for a pop. Belair goes to the top but Bayley and Jax pull Baszler to the floor to safety. Belair turns her direction and leaps to the floor from the top, taking down all three opponents with a crossbody. Belair sits up against the barrier and clutches her knee. We go to commercial with Belair selling a knee injury.

Back from the break and Bayley has Belair down in the ring, working on her hurt leg. Belair tries to scramble away but Bayley grounds her with a hold. Fans rally for Belair as she sends Bayley through the ropes to the floor. She comes right back in and stops Belair from tagging. Bayley knocks Natalya off the apron with a cheap shot. Belair dodges an elbow and tags in Tamina.

Tamina unloads on Bayley, taking her to the corner with face-first turnbuckle shots. Tamina drops Baszler on the apron and powerslams Bayley. Natalya tags in with a basement dropkick and a German suplex to Bayley. Tamina comes back in and Natalya launches Bayley into a superkick from Tamina. Tamina covers but Bayley grabs the bottom rope to break the count. Natalya tags back in but Bayley dodges the discus clothesline. Natalya goes for the Sharpshooter on Bayley but didn’t see Baszler tag in. Baszler drops Natalya to break the hold. Tamina comes in and headbutts Baszler. Natalya and Baszler scramble. Bayley runs back in but ends up dropped with Natalya’s discus clothesline. Jax runs in but Tamina superkicks her. Baszler sends Tamina to the floor.
Belair drop Baszler but Bayley pulls her to the floor for a Bayley-to-Belly suplex on the floor. Natalya kicks Bayley off the apron to prevent her from coming back in. Baszler takes advantage and grabs Natalya from behind and drops her into the Kirifuda Clutch for the submission win.
After the match, Baszler and Jax stand tall together as the music hits. We go to replays. The babyfaces limp up the ramp as the heels stand tall in the ring.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Natalya and Tamina (c) vs. Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax w/Reginald

Jax runs over Natalya. Baszler tags in and hits a running knee for a near fall. Baszler channels Pentagón Jr. when she snaps Natalya’s arm back. Tamina tags in and gets slammed by Jax. Alexa Bliss appears on the stage. Reginald gets on the apron. Flames shoot out of the ring post. Reginald and Jax both fall to the floor. Tamina and Natalya hit the Hart Attack for the win.

Winners and STILL WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Natalya and Tamina!
