Savelina Fanene is a former WWE Superstar and E! Total Divas Star. She was a force to be reckoned with in the women's division. Savelina aimed to prove to be the most dominant and fierce competitor that stepped in the ring, and she did just that during her 7-year stint in WWE, where she became RAW Women's Champion and two-time Women's Tag Team Champion etching her name in history for years to come.
There was one thing that was painfully clear when someone stepped in the ring with Savelina: "She was not like most women".

Dana is out to the ring first followed by Nia Jax to a big pop. They start off with a lock up with Nia gaining the upper hand sending Dana to the mat. Dana with a waist lock but Nia sends her flying. Dana with a serious of forearms but Nia catches her with a head-butt. Dana attempts a sleeper hold but Nia breaks free. Nia storms to the corner, Dana side step allowing Nia to hit shoulder first into the ring post. Dana goes for a handspring elbow into the Nia in the corner but gets pushed down by Nia. Nia taunts Dana by standing on her back before hitting an elbow drop.
Nia with an arm stretch, Dana tries to fight back before Nia takes her down again. Nia with a scope slam and applies another arm stretch submission hold. Nia takes her down again and attempts another elbow drop but Dana move out the way. Dana with a comeback hits a handstand moonsault for a two count. Dana attempts to pick Nia up but fails. Nia sends Dana into the corner before splashing her in the corner and a samoan for the win. Nia celebrates afterwards in the ring before heading to the back.
We go backstage to Alexa Bliss warming up. Nia Jax walks in and questioning if Alexa meant what she said last week. Nia mentions how she wants a RAW Women’s Title shot once Bliss is done with Bayley. Bliss promises to work something out when Kurt Angle is back. Nia says until then, Bliss just found herself a new best friend. Nia tells her to let’s go and walks off.
Alexa Bliss w/ Nia Jax vs. Mickie James w/ Bayley
Back from the break and out comes RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss for this non-title match. Nia Jax is right behind her. Mickie James is out next and she has Bayley with her.
The bell rings and they lock up after some trash talking. Back and forth to start. Mickie with an early pin attempt. Mickie keeps control and blows a kiss before kicking Bliss for a 2 count. Mickie keeps control and sends Bliss to the floor as we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Bliss covers for a 2 count. Bliss takes it to the corner as the referee warns her. Nia watches as Bliss works Mickie over. Mickie comes back and sends Bliss flying with a hurricanrana. Bliss takes back control and works on the arm of Mickie. Bliss drops elbows on Mickie’s arm and keeps up the offense.
Mickie ends up making another comeback. She goes to the apron but Nia grabs her leg for the distraction. Bayley with a crossbody to Nia from the steel steps. Bliss takes advantage of the distraction and gets the pin on Mickie.
After the match, Bliss attacks Mickie. Bayley makes the save and chases Bliss off to the back. Nia enters the ring and waits for Mickie to get up. Nia with a splash in the corner and a big elbow drop. Nia wipes her feet on Mickie before leaving the ring as her music plays.
We go to the ring and see Bayley, Emma, Dana Brooke, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, Alicia Fox and Mickie James waiting. The ring has a red apron cover on it. There’s a podium in the middle of the Superstars. JoJo introduces new RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and out she comes as we see stills from her win over Bayley at Payback.
Bliss says she will make this short and sweet. A lot of others come out and call themselves The Queen but she’s here to say The Queen is dead. Long live Alexa Bliss. She says she’s the only goddess in WWE now. She wasn’t happy with how the referee just raised her arm last night because she deserves a coronation. She wants to thank some people. She thanks Mickie first but just insults her. She goes to Sasha next and has words with her. She turns around to Nia Jax next. Bliss says they’re on good terms and says Nia has natural talent and she looks forward to teaming with her later. Bliss makes her way on top of the podium and looks down at the others. She thanks Bayley next and says this wouldn’t be possible without her. Fans start chanting for Bayley. Bliss pokes fun at Bayley for her family being in the crowd last night. A big brawl breaks out and we go to commercial.
Nia Jax, Emma, Alicia Fox and Alexa Bliss vs. Dana Brooke, Mickie James, Sasha Banks and Bayley
Back from the break and we’ve got a match made by RAW General Manager Kurt Angle. Bliss wants nothing to do with Bayley and tags out. Emma and Bayley go at it early on, also Emma and Mickie. Mickie ends up tagging Dana in and she comes in to face off with Emma. Emma tags out and in comes Alicia. Dana gets the upperhand and hits a springboard elbow in the corner. Dana with another 2 count on Fox after more offense. Sasha tags in and keeps up the attack on Fox. Bayley tags in and they double team Fox for a 2 count.
Bayley works over Alicia before tagging in Mickie. Mickie takes Fox down and kicks her in the face for a 2 count. Sasha comes back in and keeps Fox grounded as Bliss looks on talking trash. Fox looks to make a comeback but Sasha counters and sends her to the mat, then nails running knees to the face for a 2 count.
Fox finally turns it around and sends Sasha to the floor. All eight Superstars meet at ringside and talk trash while facing off as we go back to commercial.
Back from the break and Fox has Sasha down on the mat. We see how Nia ran over Sasha during the break. Fox with a Northern Lights suplex for a 2 count. Fox keeps Sasha grounded again. Nia tags in and drops an elbow on Sasha while Fox has her in a hold. Nia with a splash in the corner before launching Sasha across the ring. Nia with more offense and another elbow for a 2 count.
Nia keeps Sasha grounded as her partners and fans start to rally. Sasha tries to fight out but Nia plants her in the corner. Bliss comes in and slams Sasha into the mat. Bliss keeps control for a 2 count. Bayley finally gets a tag. She unloads on Bliss for a few minutes. Bayley does some of her signature moves and drops Bliss for a 2 count as Nia breaks it up. Mickie ends up hitting a Thesz Press on Nia on the floor after Dana took Nia out. Everyone gets involved as there’s chaos in and out of the ring. Bayley and Bliss go at it. Bliss with a cheap shot to the eyes that the referee doesn’t see and a DDT for the pin on Bayley.
Fatal 4 Way to Crown a New #1 Contender: Nia Jax Sasha Banks vs. Mickie James vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax
We go to the ring and out first comes Sasha Banks. The winner of this match will earn a shot at RAW Women’s Champion Bayley. Sasha enters the ring and we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Alexa Bliss is out next , then Mickie James followed by Nia Jax last. The bell rings and they meet in the middle of the ring. Nia talks down to the other women and wants them to bring it. Alexa goes to leave but Mickie and Sasha push her into Nia. She goes down. Mickie ends up going at it with Nia and jumps on her back. Nia kicks Sasha down. Nia tosses Mickie from her back. Nia goes to work on Mickie for a 2 count as Bliss runs in and breaks it up. Bliss tries to run away but Nia grabs her. Bliss slaps her for a pop. Bliss begs Nia before retreating. Nia goes after her. Mickie dropkicks Nia to the floor where Bliss is. Sasha and Mickie lock up as we see Bayley backstage watching.
They trade pin attempts and size each other up again. They lock up and Sasha grabs the arm. Mickie drops her with a shoulder. Mickie with a dropkick. Sasha with a head-scissors takedown. Sasha shows off some and Mickie ends up hitting the hurricanrana out of the corner. Mickie goes on and hits a neckbreaker for a 2 count as Nia pulls her out of the ring. Sasha launches herself out of the ring and takes out Nia and Mickie. We go to commercial with Sasha standing tall.
Back from the break and Bliss gets a 2 count on Mickie. Nia comes in and plants her. Sasha comes off the top and Nia catches her. Nia slams Sasha on top of Bliss. Mickie comes next but Nia takes her out as well. Nia with a 2 count on Mickie. We see Bayley watching backstage again. Nia manhandles Mickie now. Nia continues her dominance and applies a bear hug to Sasha in the middle of the ring.
Sasha turns the hug into a guillotine but Nia overpowers and suplexes her to the mat for a 2 count as Mickie breaks it up. Mickie unloads on Nia. Nia cuts her off and picks her up by her neck. Mickie starts fading but she manages to turn it into an armbar. Mickie takes Nia to the mat with the hold. Bliss is slow to get up to the apron. Mickie rolls over and keeps the hold locked. Nia powers up and tosses Mickie onto Sasha in the corner. Bliss goes to the top but has second thoughts when Nia sees her. Nia ends up hitting the ring post as Sasha and Mickie move. Mickie goes at it with Bliss now.
Mickie with a kick and more offense. Sasha comes in and stops the DDT. Sasha goes at it with Bliss and nails a stiff kick. Sasha ends up fighting Mickie off and hitting the double knees int he corner to Bliss. She goes for a 2 count but Nia pulls her out of the ring. Mickie takes Nia down from the apron. Mickie goes back in but Bliss knocks her off the apron, on top of Nia. Sasha comes back into the ring and faces off with Bliss. Sasha runs into an elbow. Bliss yells that this is her division now. Sasha gets the Banks Statement applied but Mickie breaks it up. Mickie tells Sasha to get up and they go at it in the middle of the ring. Mickie drops Sasha on her face. Mickie kips up and gets hype. Mickie goes to the top but Sasha cuts her off. Sasha climbs up and talks some trash. Nia comes over and clubs Sasha. She scoops Sasha on her shoulders and uses her to knock Mickie to the floor. She nails a Samoan Drop on Sasha but Bliss runs in, takes Nia out with a dropkick and steals the pin for the win and the title shot at Payback.
After the match, Bliss hits the ramp as we go to replays. Nia stands tall in the ring and stares at Bliss.
Alexa Bliss recently conducted an interview with Fox Sports, where she discussed the Superstar Shakeup, her relationship with Nia Jax and more. Read on to see what she had to say about Nia Jax.
Fox Sports: There was a moment you had with Nia Jax on Raw Monday, who I know is someone you’re very close with. What’s it been like to reconnect with her now that you’re on Raw?
Alexa Bliss: “I was so excited! Nia and I, we used to room together on the NXT trips, and we’re super, super close. We’re best friends. It’s awesome that we can be on the same brand together.
I feel like if we could ever be aligned together on Raw, that would be awesome – because, you know, I can just talk a lot of crap and she can back it up for me. Basically kind of like what our friendship’s like anyway.
It was a lot of fun, I’m super excited. She’s the best, and I’m so excited to be able to hang out with her more and work with her more in the ring.”
Fox Sports: How hard was it to keep in touch with your friends on Raw when you were on the other brand?
Alexa Bliss: “I would definitely say… especially with Nia Jax, we had been super close in NXT, pretty much inseparable. And then it got to the point where we spoke to each other maybe like once a month? Because our schedules are the complete opposite, with Raw and SmackDown.
I saw her one night on the U.K. tour because both brands were in London for a night. I got to see her then, but it’s definitely hard to keep in contact with people on the other brand because everyone is so busy and we’re all traveling at completely different times. It’s difficult, but that’s when we try to utilize FaceTime and texting and all that technology stuff.”
We go to the ring and out comes Charlotte Flair. We see video of what led to this match on last week’s RAW. Charlotte enters the ring as we go back to commercial.
Back from the break and out comes Nia Jax. They lock up to start. Nia drops Charlotte first. Nia keeps control but Charlotte comes back with kicks. Charlotte bounces off the ropes but Nia with a body splash. Charlotte fights back with kicks again. She hits a neckbreaker and a chop but Nia is still standing. Nia scoops Charlotte for a neckbreaker.
Nia with an elbow drop to the spine now. And another. Nia with a 2 count. Nia with a modified Cobra Clutch now. Charlotte gets out and looks to make another comeback but Nia is still in it. Charlotte fights her way in from the apron and tries to roll Nia up but Nia picks her up by her neck and scoops her onto her shoulder. Charlotte slides out and chops her knee. Charlotte hits Natural Selection for a 2 count. Charlotte keeps control and sends Nia into the ring post. Charlotte goes to the top and hits a big moonsault to the floor, sending Nia into the barrier.
They come back in and Nia counters the Figure Four to send Charlotte into the corner. Nia gets up and splashes Charlotte in the corner and hit a Samoan Drop for the win. After the match, Nia stands tall and has her arm raised as her music plays. Nia makes her exit.
In Ring Segment – Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Mickie James, and Nia Jax
Sasha is out because of some unfinished business. Sasha brings out, Bayley thanks Sasha for the introduction. She then thanks the fans for always being there. She says the 12 year old her would not have had her WrestleMania moment if it weren’t for the fans. She thanks fans for believing in her. Sasha says WrestleMania didn’t go as she planned but she wanted to come out and congratulate Bayley on the biggest moment of her career. But that moment is over. Sasha is out here to ask for the WWE Women’s Title but is interrupted by the debuting Alexa Bliss.
She knocks Sasha and Bayley for their nauseating exchange. Bliss says she’s the only one here that deserves recognition for putting an end to the sideshow between Sasha and Bayley. Bliss reminds everyone she’s a two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion and announces that she’s come to RAW. She’s excited to put the SmackDown drama behind her and do what she does best – win and dominate. Mickie James makes her way out next. She is also joining RAW. Mickie announces she’s back and talks how she is the greatest. She makes it to ringside but Nia Jax comes from behind and runs over her. Nia enters the ring. Bliss pushes Sasha into Nia. Sasha takes a headbutt and gets sent to the floor. Nia scoops Bayley up into the corner before hitting her with a Samoan Drop. Bliss retreats. Nia stands over Bayley with the title and says this is hers. Nia drops the title over Bayley and leaves as her music hits. We see Mickie and Sasha laid out at ringside. Nia stops at Bliss on the ramp and stares her down before going to the back.
Nia Jax isn’t like most women, and if you aren’t either, she wants you to know that’s OK.
The formidable Superstar took a moment in between pummeling the likes of Charlotte Flair and Bayley to post a rare, lengthy message to her Twitter account. The message details her own struggles with body positivity and several emotional encounters with members of the WWE Universe — male and female — following her WrestleMania debut. In the post, Jax also recounts important advice given to her by her mother: “No matter how beautiful you are on the outside, if your insides are ugly, that will be what everyone sees and feels.”
Jax closes out the message with a word for any members of the WWE Universe who may be struggling with their own self-perception: “We aren’t meant to look the same, but we are all meant to be healthy … staying healthy adds to beauty. Even more importantly, it will increase your self-confidence.”
It makes sense; there’s no way anybody can be that dominant without a major dose of self-confidence to go along with it. In this instance, though, Nia Jax’s words outside the ring are far more powerful than her offense in it.
