Naomi vs. Shayna Baszler w/ Nia Jax and Reginald

We go back to the ring and out come the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions – Shayna Baszler with Nia Jax and Reginald. Back to commercial.

During the match Lana tries to take Reginald out but Jax grabs Lana for a Samoan Drop. Lana counters and Brooke attacks Lana now with Rose also going down during the melee. Baszler kicks Lana from the apron to the floor. Naomi takes advantage of the chaos and rolls Baszler up for the pin to win.

After the match, Baszler gets up and she’s not happy. Reginald checks on Jax and helps her up as Naomi and Lana celebrate. Dana and Rose are also down.

Asuka and Rhea Ripley Contract Signing

Asuka starts ranting in Japanese. She says Ripley’s confidence is bought, not earned. Asuka says Ripley has the talent but she has to learn that she is not ready for… Ripley turns the table over and smashes Asuka in the face with it. The music interrupts and out come the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions to the stage – Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler with Reginald. Jax doesn’t know what’s worse – Ripley having the audacity to ask for a title shot at WrestleMania or Asuka accepting. Baszler says they’re both pretty bad but Ripley is new, but Asuka should be ashamed, she knows better after all they’ve done to her. Baszler says she and Jax have dominated the entire division for over a year, so where is their WrestleMania match? Fans boo as they go on bragging. Baszler can’t wait to give Ripley a hard dose of reality. Ripley asks what’s stopping her now. Jax challenges Ripley and Asuka to a tag team match on next week’s go-home show. Ripley says they accept, while Asuka is still down on the mat, clutching her mouth. Ripley tosses the mic as her music hits. Jax and Baszler taunt them from the stage.

Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler

We go back to the ring and out comes Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose. Lana and Naomi are on commentary. Out next are the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler with Reginald. Jax is still obsessed with Reginald it appears. The champs head to the ring for this non-title match. We see footage of Jax taking Reginald on a shopping trip two weeks ago.

Reginald is flipping all over the place tonight, impressing Jax. The bell hits and Rose attacks Baszler from behind for a pop. Rose rams Baszler back into the corner and unloads with shoulder thrusts. Rose scoops Baszler and slams her now. Brooke tags in and hits a modified moonsault on Baszler for a 2 count. Baszler counters and drops Brooke with a big backbreaker in the middle of the ring.

Jax is distracted by Reginald and doesn’t see Baszler trying to tag her. Baszler ends up applying the Kirifuda Clutch on Brooke but Rose breaks it up from behind with a dropkick to Baszler. Jax comes in but Brooke counter with an enziguri. Brooke with the springboard back elbow into the corner but Jax comes right out of the corner with a big clothesline.

Rose has words with Reginald at ringside. Reginald goes in the ring and jumps around some more, impressing Jax. Brooke counters a slam from Jax and takes her knee out from behind. Roe tags in and slams Jax on her face, then fights Baszler off. Rose with a knee to the face of Jax for a close 2 count. Rose stomps away while Jax is down. Baszler comes over and takes Rose out on the apron to prevent more offense. Reginald distracts Rose, allowing Baszler to level her with another clothesline at ringside. Jax goes on and drops Brooke with a big Samoan Drop for the pin to win.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles Match: Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler

We go right to the ring and out first is Bianca Belair. SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks is out next after we see recent happenings between the WrestleMania 37 opponents and Reginald. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are out next with Reginald.

Banks and Baszler start off going at it. Banks turns it around and drops Baszler in the corner for knees. Belair tags in and goes to work on Baszler. Baszler fights back before a quick 2 count. Belair backslides Baszler for another quick pin attempt. They tangle and trade attempts some more. Belair tries to power up for a powerbomb but Baszler gets free and nails a stiff knee to the jaw. Baszler goes to work on Belair’s hand and fingers now. Jax tags in and Baszler isn’t happy with it. Belair takes Jax to the corner and in comes Banks. Banks slides off Jax’s shoulders and they tangle. Jax fights off a Bank Statement attempt and levels Banks for a close 2 count.

Banks rocks Jax and charges but Jax catches her for a powerbomb. Belair tags in and makes the save as Jax didn’t see it. Belair with a low dropkick to Jax for a 1 count. Jax overpowers and sends Belair to the corner but misses a splash. Jax knocks Belair off the apron. Baszler tags in and the tension continues with Jax. Baszler slams Belair into the edge of the apron as the referee counts. Baszler brings it back in and mounts Belair with rights and lefts to stop her from tagging. Belair kicks out at 2. Baszler grounds Belair now as fans try to rally.

Jax tags back in and keeps control of Belair. Jax sends her into the corner and hits a big splash. Jax drops a big elbow for another 2 count. Baszler comes back in and levels Belair with a big running knee in the corner. Baszler keeps control and Jax comes back in to keep wearing Belair down, grounding her again as Banks tries to rally. Belair fights off both opponents now, kicking Baszler out. Jax runs into the ring post. Banks tags in as does Baszler. Banks unloads and then hits a Meteora on Jax in the corner, then Baszler in the opposite corner. Banks avoids a powerbomb by Jax and sends her out after leveling Baszler with knees. Baszler kicks out at 2.

Belair tags in and goes to the top after Banks drops Baszler. Belair hits a huge 450 on Baszler but Reginald provides a distraction. Banks leaps off the apron but Reginald leaps to the apron to avoid her. Belair knocks Reginald off the apron. Baszler with a Kirifuda Clutch to Belair from behind. She gets free but Banks comes in off a tag and they double team Baszler. Banks with the submission to Baszler but Jax ends up coming in. Belair meets her but Jax knocks her into the submission to break it up.

Banks and Belair argue now. Banks calls her a rookie and pushes her on her way out. Baszler takes advantage and rolls Banks up from behind for the pin to retain while Jax briefly held Belair’s leg from the floor.

After the match, Jax and Baszler celebrate with the titles and head up the ramp with Reginald as the music hits.

SmackDown Women’s Title Match: Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks

We go right to the ring and out comes SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks. She hits the ring and the pyro goes off. Out next comes the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions – Nia Jax with Shayna Baszler. Fans boo them as they head to the ring. Reginald is not with them. We see how Reginald has been having a spa day today, courtesy of Jax, so he can be ready for tonight’s victory party. We get formal ring introductions from Greg Hamilton.

The bell rings and Jax shoves Banks but Banks comes right back and then drops Baszler through the ropes. Banks goes to the top and drives Jax into the turnbuckles. Banks unloads in the corner to keep Jax down. Banks with running double knees in the corner now. Banks with a bulldog. She goes for the Bank Statement but Jax avoids it.

Jax with a big elbow drop and a splash in the corner to easily turn it around. Jax scoops Banks and presses her high in the air above her head, holding her and then dropping her face-first in the middle of the ring. Jax covers for 2. Jax scoops Banks for another big slam and some trash talking. Jax hits the ropes and drops another elbow for a 2 count as Baszler looks on. Jax drops Banks again and then hits a Samoan Drop for a close 2 count. Jax can’t believe it.

The music interrupts and out comes Bianca Belair to a pop now. Banks rolls to the floor for a breather at ringside. Belair walks over and checks on her, encouraging her to get back in the ring and win it as we go to commercial.

Back fro the break and Banks is fighting back. Jax grabs her from the corner and spins around for a big sideslam in the middle of the ring for a close 2 count. Belair and Baszler watch from ringside. Jax stomps on Banks’ leg while she’s down. Jax with the Stretch Muffler submission now, using it to launch Banks face-first into the turnbuckles for another close 2 count.

Jax goes back to work on Banks while keeping her grounded in a submission. Banks tries to fight out but Jax applies the Stretch Muffler again. Banks tries to get free but Jax drops down and misses as Banks moves. Banks with a reverse Meteora to the back for a 2 count. Jax sends Banks to the floor with one arm but she comes right back and ends up on the back of Jax. Jax tries to turn that into a Samoan Drop but Banks fights free with elbows. Banks with a big tornado DDT into the Bank Statement.

Baszler and Belair get into it at ringside. Baszler rolls into the ring and Baszler follows. The referee is distracted with Belair, allowing Baszler to go for a kick on Banks but she accidentally takes out her own partner. Belair sends Baszler through the ropes to the floor and Banks ends up getting the jackknife pin on Jax to retain.

After the match, the music hits as Banks takes her title and begins celebrating. She joins Belair on the ramp, raising the title in the air as Jax recovers in the ring, seething. Baszler looks to be apologizing to Jax as we get a replay of the finish.

Backstage Segment

Nia Jax is backstage venting to Shayna Baszler over what happened. Baszler apologizes but Jax doesn’t want to hear that, she wants to know what Baszler is going to do about it. Baszler is going to get a match with Bianca Belair and then give her the nastiest beating of her life.

Bianca Belair vs. Shayna Baszler (w/ Nia Jax)

We go back to the ring and out comes Bianca Belair as the announcers plug WrestleMania 37 tickets being on sale. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and the announcers hype Fastlane. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions are out next – Shayna Baszler with Nia Jax. SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks comes out but stops on the stage, then turns around and heads right back to the back while laughing.

The bell rings and Belair goes at it with Baszler. Baszler takes control and tosses Belair out of the ring, right at Jax’s feet. The referee counts and Baszler brings it back in. Jax walks off up the ramp and Baszler asks where she’s going.

We see what’s happened with Reginald and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. Cole sends us to a video of Jax and Baszler taking Reginald on a shopping trip. Jax tells him to pick out anything he wants, it’s his. Jax is enjoying herself, watching Reginald try on different outfits and pose for photos, but Baszler is getting bored, scrolling her phone. They go on and Jax has love in her eyes while watching Reginald talk. Graves is curious to see how this develops.

Tamina Snuka and Natalya vs. Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair (W/ Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, and Reginald on commentary)

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax get down the ramp with Reginald when the music hits and out comes Natalya and Tamina Snuka. They march to the ring as Bianca Belair and SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks look on from the ring. Reginald, Baszler and Jax join Cole and Graves on commentary. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and Banks starts off with Natalya. Tamina takes Banks right to the corner and in comes Natalya. Snuka and Natalya are wearing matching gear. Banks and Natalya go at it. Banks with a big slap. Banks with a deep arm drag from the ropes, sending Natalya to the floor for a breather. Banks with a baseball slide under the bottom rope. Banks brings Natalya back in but stops to briefly stare at Jax and Baszler.

Jax has Reginald show off his new outfit on top of the announce table. Tamina tags in and unloads on Banks in the corner, beating her down. Natalya tags back in and stomps away to keep her down. Natalya with a snap suplex in the middle of the ring for a 2 count. Natalya grounds Banks now. Fans rally and Banks breaks free as Belair waits for a tag on the apron. Banks is pulled back but she kicks the Sharpshooter attempt away.

Belair tags in and nails a series of dropkicks on Natalya. Belair comes off the top but has to roll through. She comes right back and hits a big Spinebuster on Natalya. Reginald gets on the apron for a distraction. Belair complains to the referee but goes back to work on Natalya in the corner. Natalya fights out and levels her with the discus clothesline.

Banks comes to the announce table and confronts Reginald on top of the table. She chases him in the ring and back out. Natalya takes advantage and rushes Banks from behind against the ropes, leveling her and sending her to the floor while Belair and Tamina go at it. Belair decks Natalya but Tamina comes from behind and rolls Belair up for the pin to win.

After the match, Snuka and Natalya stand tall in the ring a we go to replays. Belair yells at Banks at ringside, scolding her for causing them to lose for being distracted by Reginald. Belair storms off tot he back. Jax, Baszler, Reginald, Natalya and Snuka stand in the ring together. Reginald blows a kiss to Banks and laughs at her as Jax also laughs. Banks seethes and heads up the ramp.

Backstage segment 

Kayla approaches Nia Jax and Reginald backstage. Jax scolds her for being rude and interrupting. Jax laughs at what happened to Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair, and at Sasha thinking they will win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at Fastlane. Reginald suggests Jax challenge Banks for her SmackDown Women’s Title next week so she can go into Fastlane with two titles. Jax says that’s a great idea. Jax tells Kayla to beat it so she can get back to talking to Reginald.

Naomi and Lana vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler w/ Reginald

Nia Jax introduces her new friend Reginald, a sommelier who is down on his luck. Reginald was fired by Carmella and slapped by Sasha Banks last Friday on Smackdown. Luckily she knows her way around a fine glass of wine and is bringing him to ringside. Jax thinks Reginald is cute.

Naomi starts against Nia Jax. Jax quickly throws Naomi into the ropes, so Lana tags in. Naomi and Lana kick Jax, so Shayna Baszler tags in. Baszler knocks Lana to the corner, but Lana fights back with a bulldog. Naomi tags in and attacks Baszler. Baszler hits a gutwrench suplex on Naomi. Lana tags in and hits a double-team with Naomi for a two count. Lana applies a waistlock, but Baszler quickly knocks her out of the ring. Naomi then hits Jax and Baszler with a corkscrew plancha.

-Commercial Break-

We come back from the break to see Baszler dominating Lana. During the break, she stomped on Lana’s arm. Lana goes for a tag, but Baszler stops her before knocking Naomi off the apron. Lana then boots Baszler down. Naomi tags in and dropkicks Baszler. Naomi hits a weak Rear View on Naomi as Jax tags in. Naomi kicks away at Jax before hitting an enzuigiri. Naomi hits a head-scissor DDT, but Baszler breaks up the pin. Jax charges Naomi, but Naomi sidesteps her to send her into Baszler. Reginald grabs Naomi’s foot to distract her. Lana tags in. Naomi grabs Reginald and Lana hits him with a baseball slide. Jax avalanches Lana into Naomi. Jax then powerbombs Lana for the win.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles Match: Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez vs. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler

We go back to the ring and out comes Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez, getting their title shot for winning the first-ever Dusty Rhodes Women’s Tag Team Classic. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are out next. We get formal ring introductions from Taylor.

Baszler starts off with Kai but Jax tags right in to start. Jax drops Kai first, then launches her across the ring with a throw. Jax with a running splash in the corner and some trash talking as fans boo. Baszler tags in and drops Kai to take over. Baszler takes Kai to the corner and taunts her. Kai charges but Baszler slams her on the mat, then goes to work on her arm and wrist. Baszler goes to stomp the elbow but Kai moves. Kai jumps up and slaps Baszler for a pop.

Kai fights out of the corner and rolls Baszler for a 2 count. Kai with an arm drag and another takedown. Baszler catches a kick and drops Kai on her face. Baszler tosses Kai out of the ring to the floor. Gonzalez checks on Kai as Jax and Baszler approach. The two teams face off at ringside as we go to a picture-in-picture commercial. Baszler returns to the ring and Kai tags in Gonzalez. They have words in the middle of the ring. Gonzalez shoves Baszler. Baszler rocks her. Gonzalez just takes it but now they go at it in the middle of the ring.

Back from the break and Kai has control of Baszler. Baszler goes to the floor to regroup, then sweeps Kai on the apron and drops her. Baszler brings it back into the ring and stomps away on Kai’s knee. Jax tags in and applies a Stretch Muffler on Kai, swinging her around and manhandling her. Kai slides down and tries to roll Jax up but Jax lifts her and nails a big headbutt.

Jax drops Kai and applies the Stretch Muffler again, swinging her into the turnbuckles as fans continue to boo. Jax covers with an arrogant pin for a 2 count. Kai leaps off the second rope but Jax catches her. Baszler tags in and knocks Gonzalez off the apron. Jax presses Kai and slams her, then Baszler follows up with a kick to the jaw for a 2 count. Kai fights the champs off but Baszler catches a kick. Kai kicks Baszler’s leg out then kicks her in the jaw to take her down.

Gonzalez tags in and dropkicks Baszler, then clotheslines her. Gonzalez blocks a shot and nails a big fall-away slam to Baszler, and another. Gonzalez keeps control with more offense but Baszler kicks out just in time. Baszler breaks free from a powerbomb attempt. Jax tags in and stares Gonzalez down. Jax shoves Gonzalez and they unload on each other in the middle of the ring. Jax misses a splash in the corner. Gonzalez with shoulder thrusts now. Jax runs over Gonzalez in the middle of the ring. Baszler tags in and drops Gonzalez with a knee to the jaw for a 2 count.

Baszler gets on Gonzalez with a Sleeper but she tosses Baszler to the mat. Baszler eats a big boot. Kai tags in as Gonzalez puts Baszler on her shoulders. Kai with a double team kick for the pin but Jax runs in and breaks it up. Gonzalez runs in and decks Jax but Jax clotheslines her over the top rope to the floor. The referee checks on Baszler. Kai scoops Baszler but her knee goes out. Kai ducks a clothesline and goes for the move again. Her leg apparently goes out again. Kai rolls through the Kirifuda Clutch but Baszler brings her right back into the Clutch. Kai starts fading in the submission.

Kai tries to kick free as Gonzalez returns to the apron. Gonzalez tags in but Baszler doesn’t see it. Gonzalez runs over and decks Jax off the apron. Jax pulls her out and rams her back into the apron. Gonzalez charges and tumbles over the announce table with Jax for a pop. Baszler and Kai are both down next to each other in the ring as fans chant “NXT!” now. Baszler snaps to it and applies the Kirifuda Clutch again but Baszler still doesn’t realize Kai isn’t legal.

Adam Pearce and RAW referee Shawn Bennett come out. Bennett hits the ring and calls the match as Kai passes out in the hold, also not realizing that Kai was no longer legal.

After the bell, officials check on Jax and Gonzalez as the boos get louder. Baszler takes the titles at ringside as we go to replays with the boos continuing. The champs stand tall with the titles on the stage as Kai and Gonzalez look on from the ring.
